RISE - a Sam Treadaway Residency - Mead Music

For his residency at AirSpace, Sam Treadaway is focussing on relational activities of collaboration and exchange by producing of mead (honey wine) and bread, connected by their key alchemic ingredient of yeast.

Working with locally sourced produce and through interaction and dialogue with local community groups Rise will explore the profoundly social role that food plays within society as a primary source of sharing, giving and as a manifestation of altruism.
